Xiaomi is one of India's best-selling smartphone and TV brands. And, to stay on top, the company needs to come up with new ways to stand out from the local audience. And the newest one is the so-called “Guaranteed delivery the next day” for purchases made on the website “Mi.com”. The service will be available for an extra Rs. 0.49 (approximately R $ 2,74), and allows the next day delivery to more than 150 cities spread across different regions of the country.

The news was announced by Manu Kumar Jain, vice president of Xiaomi and president of the company's mobile division in India. According to him, for the delivery to be made the next day, orders must be placed by 15:30 the previous day, and must respect a list of just over 90 products. In addition, this option is available from Monday to Friday. On weekends and holidays, this modality does not apply. The company undertakes to return the amount paid more if the delivery is made after the proposed deadline.

Xiaomi has already introduced a similar service in the city of Bangalore, also in India, for selected smartphones last year. However, unlike the current delivery proposal, the first offer was offered free of charge, perhaps to verify the acceptance and functionality of the modality.
