Last week, the official profile Hyundai N Instagram published three teasers, confirming a good news: The Hyundai Kona N is coming. This is not unexpected, as we have been aware of the development of the vehicle for some time. However, seeing him in images, however few, means that he is closer to reality.

According to forecasts, the Hyundai Kona N will be powered by the same 2.0 turbo engine as the Veloster N and Elantra N, still in development. In other words, the car must have 275 horsepower available, driven by an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The Veloster N has a six-speed manual gearbox - it will be on the Elantra N. However, it is still unclear whether the new Kona N will also have that gearbox.

Unlike the other two vehicles, which use front-wheel drive, the Hyundai Kona N will have four-wheel drive (another reason to believe that it has only automatic transmission). In this way, the small and vigorous SUV it will have greater agility in the curves, which undeniably will transform this crossover into a hatch of good performance.

The Kona N will be sold in the United States as part of Hyundai's commitment to offer seven models with the N brand in the coming years.
