CES 2021: Brands announce new notebooks

Redaction 16 January 2021

Among computers, Intel's highlight at CES 2021 was the revelation of the Alder Lake architecture, which should start to be incorporated into the company's processors in the second half. The technology aims to bring the x86 closer to Arm, which begins to threaten Intel's reign in computers after fully controlling the cell phone market. With that, Intel mimics Arm's BIG.little format, with heterogeneous cores; part of them are geared towards rough processing and heavy duty, and the other part for lighter activities, providing energy savings, which is especially important in laptops.

Speaking of laptops, the fair featured several new notebooks from manufacturers such as Asus, Acer, Razer, Lenovo for all types of audiences. Perhaps the most amazing product in the category was the ROG Flow X13, from Asus, which is an unprecedented hybrid gaming notebook with a hinge that rotates 360 ° and allows use in multiple positions. It is also accompanied by an external case with a GPU RTX 3080, which makes it even more unique.
