A Xiaomi launched this Friday in Brazil the smart watch Mi Watch. Weighing only 32g, the smartwatch stands out for features like the 117 available exercise modes, the possibility of heart rate monitoring and voice control. 

The MI Watch has a 1.39 ”circular AMOLED touch screen, compass, GPS and elevation and air pressure sensors. Monitoring of heart rate it can be done uninterruptedly, 24 hours a day, and it is also possible to monitor sleep.


According to the manufacturer, the battery has autonomy of up to 16 days, varying according to the intensity of use. Recharging takes just two hours.

Among the 117 supported sports modes we have swimming, street running, treadmill, yoga, rope and cycling, among others. Thanks to protection against water (pressure up to 5 ATM), the watch can be used without concern in outdoor activities.

The information collected during activities is processed by the Mi Wear app, which produces a detailed report on the user's health and well-being.

Mi Watch can also be used to show notifications received by the smartphone, without having to take it out of your pocket, and even to control features of the device, such as the camera. The clock interface is customizable: there are more than 100 pre-configured watchfaces, and the user can use a favorite image as a background.

According to Xiaomi, the Year in Sport annual report released by Strava, an online platform for recording physical activities, shows the growing interest of Brazilians in physical activities even during the pandemic. In 2020 more than 3 million Brazilians registered, making us the second country in number of users on the platform.

Mi Watch is now available on Xiaomi website, in black, blue and gray. The suggested price is R $ 1.999,99, or R $ 1.839,99 in cash.
