The episode 73 of the anime 'Attack on Titan', which was going to be released this Sunday (14), was postponed at the last minute due to the earthquake that hit the province of Wakayama, in Japan. The occurrence was confirmed by Crunchyroll and Funimation via Twitter.
With a magnitude of 4.6, the earthquake occurred minutes after the episode started airing in Japan, being taken off the air so that the country's press and the NHK, channel that broadcasts the anime, start covering the latest news.
“Episode 73 of the final season of 'Attack on Titan' was postponed due to an earthquake in Wakayama Prefecture, Japan. We are sending love to the residents there ”, said the broadcast service, in a note, after the episode was interrupted.
According to Crunchyroll, episodes 73 and 74 will be streamed in Japan next Monday (22). In Brazil, the chapters will air on the platform of streaming right after the exhibition in the country of origin, at the local time and day, that is, on Sunday (21).
'Attack on Titan' (or 'Shingeki no Kyoujin', in the original) is a manga series created by Hajime Isayama that was very successful thanks to the anime produced by WIT Studio. The story touches on a world in which people have isolated themselves in a city with gigantic walls to avoid the onslaught of human-eating titans.
