Huawei presented on Monday (26) the Nova 8 Pro 4G smartphone to the market Chinese. The model is a version with connectivity settings geared to the previous technology, of the Nova 8 Pro 5G, which was launched by the brand in December 2020. 

However, despite arriving with a worse mobile network connection, the device has a number of improvements over its 5G version. The Huawei Nova 8 Pro 4G arrives with a 6,72 ”OLED screen and a FullHD + resolution of 2676 x 1236 pixels, a screen with support for a refresh rate of 120 Hz, against 90 Hz of the 5G version. 


The model keeps the powerful Kirin 985 processor paired with 8GB RAM of the 5G variant. Regarding storage, the launch comes with options of 128 GB and 256 GB.

As is customary at Huawei, the device arrives with a good configuration of cameras, with the rear being a quadruple with the main sensor of 64MP, an ultra wide secondary of 8MP, depth sensor of 2MP and a macro camera of 2MP. At the front, the device carries two sensors, 16MP and 32MP in a tablet-shaped module.

The 4000mAh battery of the Huawei Nova 8 Pro 4G is charged via a USB-C port with 66W charging support. This allows the device to have an ultra-fast charge, which can go from 0 to 60% in just 15 minutes and fully charge in 35 minutes. 

The new intermediate model from Huawei is now available on official website of the brand in China, but still without price information, however, the 5G version is sold at 3.999 Chinese yuan (R $ 3.365,23). In Brazil, the only device in the Nova line sold is the 5T, which sells for around R $ 3.000.
