O Disney + is making a huge investment in 'Star Wars' franchises. One of the projects for the platform is a 'Andor' series, focused on the character of Cassian Andor, played by Diego Luna in last saga trilogy.

Still without a premiere date, 'Andor' continues filming in Cleveleys, England. In the images that were released by a user on Twitter, we can see Andor's interpreter with the first looks, in addition to his interaction with some shoretroopers, the stormtroopers of 'Rogue One'. The site Making Star Wars, a portal created by fans of the franchise, also released some images taken in the making-off of 'Andor' recordings.

In addition to Diego Luna, Genevieve O'Reilly, Fiona Shaw, Tony McCarthy, Adria Arjona, Stellan Skarsgard, Denise Gough and Kyle Soller are confirmed in the production.

Set five years before the events seen in the film 'Rogue One', the story of the series will revolve around Cassian operating as a spy in the galaxy, something along the lines of 'The Mandalorian'.

'Andor' is set to premiere in 2022 at Disney +, and will have 12 episodes.

Other predicted titles of the franchise on Disney + are 'Star Wars: The Bad Batch', 'Star Wars: Visions', 'Lando' (to be confirmed by the presence of Donald Glover), 'The Acolyte' and 'A Droid Story'. The next film in the franchise, scheduled for December 2023, will be 'Rogue Squadron', directed by Patty Jenkins, from 'Wonder Woman'.
