A Lucasfilm, main studio behind everything that involves the universe 'Star Wars', announced on the afternoon of Thursday (20), that the director Dave Filoni is the company's new creative director. Filoni's promotion was subtly announced with the update of his profile on the company's website.
With an extensive curriculum, the new director is known for being the man who helped the franchise expand its range of productions and gain a new audience on television. He helped attractions like 'Star Wars Rebels','The Clone Wars' is 'The resistance'to get off the ground.
Currently, he follows behind 'The Mandalorian', success of Disney + and award winner Emmy, and the latest animation from the streaming platform, the drawing 'Star Wars: The Bad Batch'.

Although the position of creative director has not been detailed, it is likely that Filoni will have more autonomy to approve or develop new projects for the company.
