After years of hearsay and more rumors, this Thursday (20), the Disney finally confirmed the sequel to 'Abracadabra', comedy film - and full of magic - with Bette Midler ('The Desquitada Club'), Sarah Jessica Parker ('Sex and the City'), Kathy najimy ('Veronica's Closet').

The novelty was confirmed by Twitter of the Disney + platform, which will be responsible for showing the sequence, check out:


The film is expected to premiere in the last quarter of 2022 and will be directed by Anne Fletcher ('Dressed for Weddings' is 'The proposal').

One of the great attractions of the block “Afternoon session", from Globo, the film revolves around two brothers who resurrect three witches who died more than 300 years ago, for being condemned for improper witchcraft practices. Upon returning to Earth, the trio of witches decides to do everything they can to make up for lost time.

Actress Bette Midler also celebrated the return of 'Abracadabra' on twitter:

"Sisters, 300 years have passed ... But we are BACK!", She wrote.

Although there is already a preview for Disney +, confirmed cast and direction, the plot and who will be in charge has not been revealed yet.
