This Thursday (10), Facebook.Inc announced new features to celebrate Valentine's Day on its two most popular social networks: o Facebook and the Instagram.

According to official company data, the heart emoji was used in more than 850 million posts and comments, on both networks, in the last 30 days alone. And, of course, the hashtags that most appeared on the platforms were “love”, “boyfriends”, “life”, “family” and “amorproprio”.

Two new themed post backgrounds and three launches of custom avatar templates are some of the tools offered to generate the romantic mood that the date requires.

To select your avatar on Facebook, just follow the steps below:

1- Click on the three horizontal lines in the upper or lower right corner of the screen to access the menu;

2- Click on “See more”;

3- Select the “Avatars” option.

You can also do this by clicking on the Facebook or Facebook comments field. Messenger: Select the smiley face icon, then click “Create your Avatar”. Once that's done, just select those related to Valentine's Day.

Anyone who wants to demonstrate their feeling for the pair on Instagram will have new audio and filters to boost the generation of short videos on Instagram. Reels. In stories, the fever of the moment is due to the augmented reality effects, which have been quite successful among users.

To create a video on Reels, you need to swipe the screen to the right to open the camera. Then select the “Reels” option. On the left side of the screen are available tools to customize the material, such as audio options, filters and effects to be applied.
