According to the technology analyst at Bloomberg, Mark Gurman, specializing in products Apple, the announcement of the new MacBook Pro with fabric miniLED for September, October or November, reiterating what Ming-Chi Kuo, a market analyst specializing at Apple, reported a few weeks ago.

In his newsletter, Gurman says the product should have been released earlier, "but complications around the new miniLED display have delayed production."

Called by Apple the Liquid Retina XDR, the miniLED screen is now available on the new iPad Pro M1 of 12,9 inches. 

This panel uses 10 mini LEDs, which provide greater localized backlight control, allowing for higher brightness and deeper blacks. The combination increases the contrast ratio and uses less energy compared to a conventional LCD.

According to the company, the Liquid Retina XDR screen offers realistic detail with a contrast ratio of 1.000.000:1. It also has 1,6 nits of full-screen brightness and XNUMX nits of maximum brightness.

Gurman gives a tip on choosing between the MacBook Pro and the MacBook Air. According to him, "The MacBook Pro is for those who need more speed and RAM for application development, Photoshop and heavy video editing, while the Air is ideal for web browsing, email and light photo editing."

Bloomberg recently published that the new MacBook Pro would be configurable with up to 64GB of RAM. However, last week, youtuber Luke Milani reported that new Macs may be limited to 32GB of RAM.
