A Apple introduced the new iPad during its autumn event, this Tuesday (14/09), in California. The new tablet, which opened the launch window, will feature A13 Bionic processor that is 20% more powerful than the previous generation and three times faster than the main ChromeBooks on the market.
According to Apple, the model will replace the version most basic iPad and will feature a 10,2-inch retina display and True Tone color technology, which adjusts screen content to the color temperature of a room. In addition, the new iPad will feature an ultrawide 12 MP selfie camera and an enhanced FaceTime calling system. According to the manufacturer, the idea is to optimize it for use in conferences and classes through an autofocus system called Center Stage, which automatically follows the user's movements.
In addition, the new iPad will support most accessories that already exist on the market, including keyboards from other manufacturers and the first generation Apple Pen. Also according to Apple, the new iPad also received battery booster to withstand the entire day of use. Despite the announcement, charging specifications have yet to be released.
A13 Bionic with neural engine
Apple surprised users by announcing the new iPad with a new version of the A13 Bionic chipset. According to the manufacturer, the chip has a neural engine to bring more performance to the device, offering a 20% increase in performance over the previous generation, which makes the new iPad up to 6x faster than the best-selling Android tablet .
According to Apple, the added performance will allow users to run advanced applications and games without worrying about hardware bottlenecks. The manufacturer also highlights the processor's machine learning technology that includes features such as Live Text that allow the user to identify text from images and transport them to notes automatically.
Another novelty compared to previous generations is the storage gain. The new iPad will feature 64GB and 256GB versions, twice as much storage as the previous version.

During the presentation, Apple also unveiled some of the new features of the iPadOs 15, the tablet version of the iOS 15 that will come with the new iPad.
