Apple took advantage of the beginning of the afternoon of Tuesday (14) to
officially announce the iPhone 13, basically following all the rumors and rumors that circulated the product. The cell phone comes in two sizes, keeping the Mini version on the market and adopting a new processor with six cores, the A15 Bionic.

Even with sales of the iPhone 12 Mini without the strength expected by Apple for the most economical cell phone in its category, the apple company has not given up on the market share that prefers a smaller smartphone, without giving up the capabilities of the powerful hardware announced for these high-end devices.

The iPhone 13 follows suit, with the larger version using a 6,1-inch screen, while its Mini version uses 5,4 inches for the display. Both screens are still made with an OLED layer, but now with 28% more brightness when reaching 800 nits. Apple still promises to reach up to 1200 nits in some situations.

iPhone 13 promises to be 50% faster than the competition

Inside, Apple swapped the previous generation processor for the A15 Bionic chip, equipped with six cores for general processing and another four for the GPU. The apple company does not disclose technical data, but promises that this new component is 50% faster than the best competitor's product (Qualcomm Snapdragon 888?), has twice the system cache, in addition to generating 30% better graphics.

The new A15 Bionic chip also brings improvements to the iPhone 13's artificial intelligence work, with 16 cores focused just for this task. Apple claims that the new processor can handle up to 15,8 trillion operations per second.

Uma novidade importante para os usuários é o fim da versão de 64 GB, com o iPhone 13 e o 13 Mini começando com 128 GB. O máximo de memória também recebeu um upgrade, passando de 256 GB para 512 GB.

Novo arranjo para as câmeras do iPhone 13

Na traseira o conjunto de câmeras continua com dois sensores e ele mudou a organização para a diagonal, exatamente como previam os rumores mais recentes. Os dois componentes continuam com 12 megapixels, mas as lentes permitem a entrada de mais luz.

A lente da câmera principal utiliza abertura de f/1,6, enquanto o sensor secundário continua fazendo fotos ultrawide em f/2,4. Mesmo mantendo o mesmo número na abertura, a Apple promete que o novo vidro é capaz de permitir a entrada de 47% mais luz em qualquer condição.

Uma novidade importante para as câmeras do iPhone 13, assim como do iPhone 13 Mini, é que o sensor recebeu o mesmo estabilizador de movimentos lançado nos iPhones 12 Pro e Pro Max.
