Every time the title 'Spider-Man' appears next to the name of the actor tobey maguire there's a lot of anticipation as fans of the superhero want to see him in 'no return home'. But the news (unfortunately) is not that yet. It turns out that the costume worn by him in the third of his films as the protagonist was up for auction.

It is noteworthy that the uniform to be auctioned is the traditional one, in red and blue, not the symbiote black that adapts to the body worn by Peter Parker while dealing with difficult feelings. So, whoever is a fan (and rich) should scratch their pockets. The hero's clothes should cost around US$ 70 thousand, or R$ 380 thousand, using the quotation of this Tuesday (28), with the dollar sold at R$ 5,43.

The outfit was designed by costume designer for the first Spider-Man movie, James Acheson, with Katina Le Kerr. It is a tweaked version of the costume used in 'Spider-Man 2', made by Deborah Lynn Scott. Even a little different from the classic Marvel comic book uniform, it is an iconic piece for the entire generation that followed the three films directed by Sam Raimi at the movies.

The auction is carried out by the Prop Store, according to the website TMZ, and integrates a set with more than a thousand pieces of film and television memorabilia. Sales of materials take place between the 9th and 11th of November this year.

'Spider-Man 3' was released in 2007. In the film, the superhero played by Tobey Maguire faces three villains, starting with Harry Osborn (James Franco), his former best friend. The other two are Sand-Man (Thomas Haden Church) and Venom (Topher Grace). On top of that, he needs to reconcile his crime-fighting life with his private life, especially his relationship with Mary Jane Watson, played by Kirsten Dunst.

The feature distributed by Columbia Pictures was a box office success and took the third-highest gross that year, totaling $894.983.373 worldwide. The film was second only to 'Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End' and 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix', in first and second place, respectively.

Teioso's next film, subtitled 'Sem Volta Para Casa' and part of Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), debut on Brazil on the 16rd of December.
