The new version of the iconic movie from Christmas 'Forgot Me' won a trailer this Tuesday (12). The streaming platform's new exclusive comedy Disney + is called 'Home Sweet Home Alone' in English and it reimagines the old franchise, initially starring Macaulay Culkin in the 1990s. The new feature opens on November 12th.
Like the other films in the Home Alone franchise, a ten-year-old boy is left behind when the whole family travels to the holiday season. In this one, Max Mercer is the mischievous and resourceful boy forgotten by his relatives, who travel to Tokyo, in the Japan. He is played by British Archie Yates, who played Yorki in 'Jojo Rabbit'.

Pam and Jeff Fritzovski, played by Ellie Kemper ('Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt') and Rob Delaney ('Deadpool 2'), attempt to recover a priceless family heirloom and head back to the Mercer residence. There, Max is the only one present to stop the intruders from breaking in and does everything he can to keep them out of the house.
The 'Home Sweet Home Alone' cast also features Aisling Bea, Kenan Thompson, Ally Maki, Pete Holmes, Chris Parnell, Timothy Simons, Andy Daly and Mikey Day. giving life to Buzz McCallister, Kevin's older brother in the early Home Alone movies. Now he appears as a policeman.
The new movie The franchise is scripted by Mikey Day and Streeter Seidell, both of 'Saturday Night Live', with the story based on an old script by filmmaker John Hughes. The producers are Hutch Parker and Dan Wilson, with Jeremiah Samuels as executive producer. Dan Mazer directs the film.
